§ 2-1. Appointive officers of city—Enumerated.

The appointive offices and positions of employment of the city shall be as are designated in the classified service of the city pursuant to Act No. 324 of the 1965 Regular Session of the Legislature of Alabama, as amended from time to time, and action taken thereunder, and those offices and positions in the exempt service which are paid out of the general fund of the city and which have been specifically placed in such category by action of the governing body, and in addition thereto, such other positions and persons as the city council shall determine to create from time to time.
